Narok County Council Announces New Maasai Mara Park Fees for 2024

The Narok County Council (NCC) has recently released the revised entry fees for the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve for the year 2024, showcasing notable changes from the previous fee structures, effective 1st Jan 2024. The newly announced rates are as follows:

Kenyan Citizens (Per Day):

  • Adults: KSH 3,000 per person (Previously: Ksh. 1000)
  • Children: KSH 1,000 per person (Previously: Ksh. 200)
  • Students: KSH 1,000 per person (Previously: Ksh. 200)

East African Residents (Per Day):

  • Adults: KSH 4,500 per person (Previously: Ksh 1,200)
  • Children: KSH 2,000 per person (Previously: Ksh 300)
  • Students: KSH 2,000 per person (Previously: Ksh 300)

Vehicle Entry Charges (Per Day):

  • Less than 6 Seats: KSH 500 per vehicle (Previously: Ksh. 400)
  • 6 – 12 Seats: KSH 1,000 per vehicle (Previously: Ksh. 1,000)
  • 12 – 24 Seats: KSH 3,000 per vehicle (Previously: Ksh. 3,000)
  • 25 – 44 Seats: KSH 4,000 per vehicle (Previously: Ksh. 4,000)

Non-Residents (Accommodated inside/outside the Park) – Per Day:

  • Adults (Jan-June): USD 100 per person (Previously: US$ 70)
  • Adults (July-Dec): USD 200 per person (Previously: US$ 80)
  • Children: USD 50 per person (Previously: US$ 40)
  • Students: USD 50 per person (Previously: US$ 40)

Narok Residents (Per Day):

  • Adults: KSH 2,000 per person
  • Children (Under 10 years): Free
  • Children (Over 10 years): KSH 500 per person

All the park fees are valued for 24 hours from the time you enter to the park. Rates are can also be influenced by where one is staying during his or her trip in Masai. All guests who stay at Mara Serena Lodge and Little Governor’s Camp pay 10$ less the park entry fees. All East African residents’ fees are applicable to residents of Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi. A guest is required to clearly identify his or her self with National identity card or Passport to prove his or her resident status as you reach to the park gate. With these revised fee structures, the NCC aims to secure the future of the Masai Mara National Reserve as a global hub for wildlife conservation and responsible tourism.
